Booking widget on Squarespace
Squarespace shows the widget through a Code block. Place it on the page where guests should book, usually under the photos.
The snippet

Replace YOUR_PROPERTY_ID with your property's id. It is on the property's Widget tab in your dashboard, where the snippet is already filled in and ready to copy.
Steps
Edit the page and add a Code block where the booking card belongs.
Paste the embed code, keep the block's type as HTML, and click Apply.
Save and publish, then open the page to see the card.
Paste the page's address on the property's Widget tab to confirm the install.
Code blocks are not on every Squarespace plan. If you cannot add one, the plan is the reason, not the code.
If something looks off
- Code blocks are a Business plan feature and above. On a Personal plan the block is not offered.
- Leave the block's mode on HTML and Display Source off, or the code shows as text.
Confirming the install
Once the page is live, paste its address on the property's Widget tab. RentalCal opens the page, finds the embed code and marks the widget confirmed. Booking assistants can then find the property by that address too.
