Build on RentalCal

A read-only Model Context Protocol server. An assistant can find a property from its booking site, read the listing, check availability and price a stay. Booking finishes on the host's own page, from the link the quote returns.

• Claude: add RentalCal from the Connectors Directory. Setup and example questions are on the Claude connector page.
• Mistral Le Chat: add a custom MCP connector from Connectors, with the address above and no authentication. Custom connectors may need a paid Le Chat plan.
• Google Gemini: where Gemini offers custom apps, add the address above as a custom app from gemini.google.com/apps.
• ChatGPT and other MCP clients: add the address above as a Streamable HTTP server with no authentication.
• MCP Registry: listed as com.rentalcal/rentalcal.

Everything a guest sees on a host's booking page, as JSON, with no API key. A booking request carries the guest's own name and email, as the booking widget does, and checking its status takes that same email.

Base URL https://api.rentalcal.com. OpenAPI 3.1 spec: openapi.json. Point an agent at the spec and it has the rest.

• Amounts are integers in the listing currency's smallest unit (cents). Dates are YYYY-MM-DD, and a stay covers the nights from check-in up to check-out.
• A quote is not a hold. Dates are held once a booking request succeeds, or once checkout is paid when the host takes payment up front.
• Errors are always { "error": { "code", "message" } }. Branch on code; messages for refusals a guest can fix, such as taken dates or too many guests, are safe to show them.
• Requests are rate limited per caller and per property.

Build a custom integration to RentalCal. Its OpenAPI document is

booking site address, check availability, quote a stay for my dates and
party, and request the booking. No authentication is needed. Always show
me the quote total and any rental agreement, and ask before you submit a
request. If the response includes a checkout URL, open it for me to pay.

Connects calendar sync from inside Airbnb's, Vrbo's and Booking.com's own calendar settings: it reads the platform's calendar link, attaches it to the host's RentalCal property, and fills RentalCal's calendar into the platform's import form for the host to save. It only acts when the host clicks, and never submits a platform's form. Coming soon to the Chrome Web Store.

Hosts on the Pro plan can create API keys in the RentalCal dashboard and read their own properties and availability from automations and scripts. A key reaches only the account that created it.
